Sometimes though i forget to do it and when the engine does indeed stop at the first. I'm curious as to what others think about this feature. Surprised you hate it so much, i considered getting the dongle but i don't mind the feature at all once i got used to modulating my brake pressure when i didn't want the engine off (like a stop sign).
Auto start/stop malfunction : Audi
For me, i usually don't use the start/stop feature because i don't usually sit at lights long enough to make it worth the trouble and the annoyance of it stopping for a few seconds bugs me.
If you originally hated yours, and then.
There is no interraction between auto stop/start and the car braking system If your braking system is making noises that bad you should inspect it immediately and minimize driving, there could be. Love the car, but absolutely hate this auto stop/start when you stop at a light I know they say this is supposed to conserve gas but i can't imagine it is good eventually for the starter.
While it can save you fuel and help extend your vehicle's range, you may find the feature too disruptive to keep on Thankfully, it can easily be disabled via a physical button or touchscreen. Zeldin took to x to inform car owners that the epa did approve the feature, but he is now working to fix it The issue is it takes longer for the engine to start and rev up during start stop than when it’s just normally running
So you’ll stall the car out from a stop when the system activated because your used.
I see so many people (not just with f150's) complaining about how much they hate the auto stop start feature Start/stop systems automatically turn off your car’s engine when you come to a complete stop, like at a red light I recently picked up a chevy cruze with this auto start/stop tech and i'm really on the fence about it, wondering if it should be tuned out
