I took it back home and on the way home the shifter would randomly at times pop out into. If you motor on down to your local vw dealer and ask for a cable end bushing they will smile and try to sell you a whole shift cable for something around $200.00 to replace an otherwise perfectly. Found a short throw bracket on ecstuning and wanted some feedback on if anyone has used this or how reliable it is
